Celler Cesca Vicent

Celler Cesca Vicent is a small family run winery located in the village of Gratallops.It was created in 1999 by Francesca Vicent. Local winemaker Emili Esteve was the first to oversee the vinification process. Years later another local winemaker, Roser Amoros, joined the winery. Roser today also supervises the vine's quality control. This essential process assures we only use the best grapes to produce an excellent wine. The process also ensures our entire winemaking complies with the criteria of organic production from harvest to bottling.
The wine production comes from grapes exclusively from our single estate, "Mas d'en Corral", which represents 12 hectares of vines. A place where sustainable viticulture is practiced respecting the natural environment. The grown varieties are the a Grenache noir and Carignan as native varieties, although we also have Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. For our white wines we have White Grenache and Macabeu.
The Priorat climate and the soil allows us to produce high quality wines with great typicality and strong personality.
From the beginning of 2008 Celler Cesca Vicent has work towards a certified organic production under the control of the CCPAE (Consell Català de la Producció Agrària Ecològica) .
